Motivational Monday: Happy Memorial Day

Today feels different from other Mondays. The flags are out, the barbecues are firing up, and somewhere underneath all of it is something worth pausing for, a deep, collective gratitude for the people who gave everything so we could have this ordinary, extraordinary life.

I think about that a lot. The fact that someone's "everything" became our freedom to choose. To dream. To build something that matters to us.

I have a son in the Navy. I know what it feels like to hold your breath a little, to love someone who has raised their hand and said I'll go. And I know that the greatest honor I can offer in return is to actually live, not just exist, but truly, intentionally live the life that their sacrifice makes possible.

So today, that's my invitation to you.

Not to hustle. Not to optimize. But to feel the weight of your freedom and let it mean something. To look at the dream you've been putting off and ask yourself,  what am I waiting for?

You are here. You are free. You have today.

That's not nothing. That's everything.
