Motivational Monday: The Power of Showing Up (Especially When You Don't Feel Like It)

You ever have one of those weeks where your to-do list looks like a Target receipt and your motivation is…well, let’s just say it’s more “sip coffee and stare out the window” than “take over the world”? Yeah, same.

Here’s the thing I had to remind myself this past week: momentum matters more than perfection. I know you’ve heard this before, but hear me out, done is better than perfect, and forward is forward, no matter how slow or awkward it might feel.

Sometimes we stall out on our goals because we think we have to wait until we feel ready or until things are just right. But waiting for perfect conditions? That’s a trap. Life doesn’t usually roll out a red carpet when it’s time to move, it throws Legos in your path and dares you to go barefoot.

Progress is built in motion. The messy kind. The “I only had five minutes so I did one thing” kind. The “I’m not sure this is the right way but I’m doing it anyway” kind.

And guess what? That counts.

So today, I want you to do one thing, just one, that moves you closer to what you’re trying to manifest. Doesn’t matter if it’s big or small. Make the call. Open the journal. Say the affirmation. Send the email. Write the first sentence. Whatever it is…just do the thing.

You don’t need a perfect plan. You need movement.

And once you’re moving? You’re creating energy. You’re proving to yourself that you’re the kind of person who shows up. Who makes it happen. Who gets unstuck not by waiting, but by going.

I’m cheering you on, always.
