Motivational Monday: Time for Some Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning isn’t just about your closets. It’s about your energy.

This time of year, we naturally start clearing things out, donating, organizing, opening the windows, letting fresh air in. It feels good. Lighter. Clearer.

But what most people don’t realize is, the clutter that’s holding you back the most isn’t sitting in your garage.

It’s sitting in your mind.In your emotions. In the stories you keep carrying forward.

And unlike that pile of clothes you finally let go of,this kind of clutter doesn’t get cleaned up unless you choose to look at it.

So let’s talk about it.

What are you still holding onto that’s weighing you down?

Is it frustration from something that didn’t go the way you planned? Is it resentment toward someone who never showed up the way you needed? Is it doubt that keeps whispering, “maybe this just isn’t for you”?

Or maybe it’s not even that loud.

Maybe it’s just a low, constant hum of overwhelm, distraction, or feeling off track.

That counts too.

Because here’s the truth:you cannot create space for what you want to manifestif you’re still holding onto what’s no longer meant for you.

And I know, letting go isn’t always easy.

Sometimes we hold onto things because they feel familiar.Because they’ve been part of our identity.Because, strangely enough, they’ve kept us safe.

But what kept you safe in one seasonmight be exactly what’s keeping you stuck in this one.

Spring is your invitation to take an honest look at what you’re carrying.

Not to judge it.Not to overanalyze it.

Just to notice it, and decide what still deserves a place in your life.

So here’s what I want you to try this week:

Do a different kind of clean-out.

Pay attention to your thoughts.

Which ones feel heavy?Which ones feel repetitive but unhelpful?

Notice your emotional patterns.Where are you reacting instead of responding?Where are you holding onto something that’s already passed?

And then ask yourself one simple question:“Is this helping me move forward, or keeping me where I am?”

If it’s not helping you move forward,it might be time to release it.

Not perfectly.Not all at once.

But intentionally.

Because when you start clearing emotional and energetic clutter, something shifts.

You feel lighter.Clearer.More like yourself again.

And from that place, you don’t have to force your next step.

It becomes obvious.

So before you go rearranging your closet this week, take a moment to check in with what’s really been taking up space.

Because the most powerful spring cleaning you can dois the kind that no one else can see.

And the results?

You’ll feel those everywhere.
