Motivational Monday: Your Highest and Best Is Calling

Let’s kick this week off with a truth bomb most of us really don’t want to hear:
You can’t operate at your highest and best when you’re trying to do everything alone.
(Yes, I said it. And yes… I am absolutely calling myself out right alongside you.)
I don’t love asking for help.
I like things done a certain way—my way—and I’ve convinced myself that I’m the only one who can do them just right. Sound familiar?
But here’s the problem… doing all the things means we’re too busy juggling to actually soar. We’re tired, stretched thin, and pouring energy into tasks that don’t move the needle on our dreams. Meanwhile, the things that light us up, the things only WE can do, get whatever scraps of time and attention are left.
Our highest and best use is where our genius lives:
✨ Our creativity✨ Our passion✨ Our leadership✨ Our ability to cast a vision and bring it to life
But when we grip everything with white-knuckled control, we limit not only our own growth, but also the growth of those who could help us rise.
Asking for help doesn’t mean weakness.
It means wisdom. It means courage. It means admitting we’re building something bigger than what one person can handle alone.
And here’s the really beautiful twist:
No, things won’t always be done your way…
But sometimes, they’ll be done BETTER.
Fresh ideas appear.
Other people’s strengths make the whole picture stronger.
And suddenly, success isn’t just possible, it’s amplified.
So this week, I want you to ask yourself:
➡️ What is my highest and best use?
➡️ What am I doing right now that someone else could do, joyfully, skillfully, maybe even better?
➡️ What would become possible if I let go… just a little?
Let yourself grow with support.
Let new ideas flourish around you.
Let collaboration be the secret ingredient that turns good into exceptional.
You are not meant to build your dreams alone.
You’re leading an orchestra, so put down the cymbals and let someone else play them. You’ve got a symphony to conduct. 🎶
Here’s to a week of asking, receiving, and rising, together.
You deserve to THRIVE at your highest and best. 💛🙌
